Organisation
The 16th conference of TC 4.6 "Informatics for Environmental Protection" of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (Germany) will be organised in Vienna in close co-operation between the International Society for Environmental Protection (ISEP), the Institute for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at the Technical University Vienna, and the Know-Center, Competence Center for Knowledge-based Applications and Systems (Graz, Austria).
Program
A well-established program committee, supported by additional experts, will perform the scientific organisation.

Venue
The Technical University Vienna, close to the city centre, will serve as a
meeting place for participants from countries with different
cultural, economic and ecological backgrounds to start a
fruitful communication on applied modern technologies for the environment.

Conference Languages
The Conference language is English. A continuous conference workshop track in German will be installed for contributions on subjects of specific interest for German speaking countries
